Raja Mathangi Sahitha Ashta Lakshmi Pooja at Thiruvallur

Sri Raja Mathangi Sahitha Sri Ashta Lakshmi Pooja was conducted on 21st October 2011 at “Sri Meenakshi Illam”, Tiruvallur.

This pooja was conducted under the blessed guidance of Sri Lakshmi Ji. Many devotees participated and were benefitted by this auspicious pooja which bestows prosperity and happiness. The Pooja began with the invocation Lord Ganapathy, the remover of all obstacles from the path of the devotee. After the pooja Lord Ganesha was invoked in the turmeric paste that was kept on the betel leaf. The devotees then lighted the five faced lamp that was lighted on all the five sides.

It is the strong belief in our Guru Parampara that the this lamp represents the Goddess Sri Lakshmi herself and the pooja is done with much devotion and fervor to this lamp.  Our Guruji, Sri Lakshmiji took the devotees thru various steps in the performance of the pooja. As usual Sri Lakshmiji explained the significance of every mantra and each step in the performance. This made the pooja a very significant event. The pooja concluded with the customary naivedyam and aarathi.

This time around also Sri Lakshmiji distributed the Ashta Lakshmi Pooja books with the necessary instructions and mantrams. All those who have received the mantra book on Ashta Lakshmi Pooja must perform the poojas at home only after obtaining the diksha from Sri Lakshmi Ji herself.

May all the devotees who took part in this pooja be blessed with abundance and happiness in their lives.
