2 Kuthuvilakkus (traditional lamps), one main vilakku lighted in 2 directions (East & South East) and the other one considered as support vilakku (Upa Vilakku) lighted in 1 direction (East) were lit.

The main lamp was considered as the Goddess herself and all the dieties – Sri Raja Mathangi and all the forms of Goddess Sri Lakshmi were invoked.
An elaborate Shodasa pooja was performed. The Pooja concluded with offering the divine prasadhams and the mangala harathi.

The event went on very well with great devotion and the presence of the eternal energy was felt by all.
