Hanuman Jayanthi Celebrations at Melbourne, Australia
What a fitting way to celebrate “Sri Hanuman Jayanti”!!. The Melbournians have been showered with choicest blessings by the august presence of Sri Lakshmiji on this auspicious occasion.
A group of ardent devotees gathered at Srivatsan Parthasarathy’s residence at 6.30 PM on Tuesday, 4th January, 2011. The puja started off with initial rituals, then Sri Panchamukha Hanuman Sahasranaama Archana, followed by mangala Aarathi and Nyvedyam. Later with Sri Lakshmiji’s acquiescence, several devotees have joined the chorus while some melodious voices led the way, in praise the Lord through Bhajans and Sri Hanuman Chalisa. All devotees were served with Maha Prasadam while some small groups were indulging in passionate talk on glory of the GOD.
That was a great memorable event for all Melbournians to cherish for a long time to come. What a grand way to usher in a Happy New Year 2011.
