As a part of guru parampara tradition, the yearly Maha Nava Chandi Yagna will be conducted for Universal peace and welfare of devotees in the benign presence of Sri Lakshmiji at Meenakshi Illam , Near Sri Viswaroopa Panchamukha Hanuman temple at Tiruvallur on 12-April-11 (Tuesday) on Sri Rama Navami day.
It is the transition time of climate from winter to the scorching summer. This change normally happens with some intermittent rains called the “kodai mazhai” which brings in a whole lot of epidomy and harm to the people at large.
Forecasting these natural harms and to provide solace and confidence to the people, in yesteryears, our ancestors and sages adopted a practice of performing special poojas and homams for the well-being of the people during Vasantha Navaratri.
All are invited to take part in this Homam and be bestowed with the kind blessings of Goddess Meenakshi.
