Raja Mathangi Sahitha Ashta Lakshmi Pooja at Om Shakti Nagar, Tiruvallur
The most auspicious Raja Mathangi Sahitha Ashta Lakshmi Pooja was conducted at Tiruvallur in “Meenakshi Illam” on Friday, 12 August 2011. The day also happened to be the day the auspicious “VaraLakshmi Vrattam” is celebrated across the country by devotees.
The pooja was conducted through initiation by Dr. Sri Lakshmi Ji at “Meenakshi Illam”. Around 10 devotees participated and got the initiation for the pooja from Sri Lakshmi Ji. The most significant part of this pooja was that all the devotees took exceptional care in going through the ritual with bhakti and shraddha (devotion and dedication) and in pronouncing the various Mantras with the right intonation.
Sri Lakshmi Ji appreciated this devotion on the part of devotees and made special mention of the dedication and interest shown in performance of the pooja. the pooja took around 3 hours to perform in its entirety .
